
Charlene Goff is the President of Edgewater Marketing, a foodservice marketing communications firm she founded in 1989. The company specializes in repositioning companies and organizations to optimize growth. Clients include food, equipment and contract management companies as well as distributors and consultants.
Charlene is also co-founder of the Consultants’ Summit, an exclusive conference for equipment manufacturers and foodservice consultants as well as the co-producer of Innovation Showcase along with innovation gurus from Ideas Well Done. This forum introduces pre-commercialized equipment and technology applications to multi-unit operations.
Involved in the industry as a volunteer, Charlene has been active in SFM for several years, currently serves on the Board of Directors, Vice Chair of the Industry Advisory Board, acted as 2007 SFM National Conference Chair and is the recipient of the 2007 President’s Award. She is involved in other industry organizations including the entrepreneurship committee of WFF, and as a member of the MRA and NACUFS. She has been a speaker on environmental communications and sustainable marketing topics at ASHFSA and NACUFS national conferences.
Charlene has an MBA from Northeastern University, an undergraduate degree in business from University of Massachusetts Amherst and has completed course work in Duke University’s graduate Environmental Leadership Program. She currently lives and works in Hingham, Massachusetts.
